Hi, I’m Monika - an architect and interior designer, and the founder of Studio M.

I founded Studio M in 2019 after more than 12 years working with some of London’s leading architecture practices, including Hawkins\Brown, Cousins & Cousins and Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands. My experience ranges from large-scale infrastructure projects such as Crossrail’s Tottenham Court Road and Bond Street stations, to bespoke residential and commercial developments.

What truly sets my practice apart is the one-stop-shop approach I provide, where I personally lead every project, offering a tailored service from start to finish.

Over the years, I’ve built a trusted network of skilled professionals - builders, carpenters, landscape gardeners, and decorators, who I can confidently recommend to my clients. By working with this close-knit team, I help remove the hassle and risk of sourcing contractors independently, which often leads to delays, unexpected costs, or quality issues. Instead, clients benefit from a smooth, reliable process where every detail is carefully managed from the outset.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to listening. I take the time to understand each client’s needs, timelines, and budgets to establish a clear, achievable vision. With the right team involved from the outset, I minimise stress, avoid costly surprises, and ensure each project is delivered to the highest standard.

Since its beginning, Studio M has grown entirely through word-of-mouth and long-standing relationships, built on trust, transparency, and consistently exceeding client expectations.

Alongside running my practice, I am Course Director for the Architecture Apprenticeship programme at London South Bank University, where I remain passionate about supporting the next generation of architects.

If you’re curious about what’s possible, I’d love to hear from you. Get in touch, and let’s start a conversation about your project.
