Our Planning and Building Control Service

Most of the planning and building control work I take on comes through word of mouth, which I’m really proud of. It’s largely down to a strong track record with applications and the care I put into coordinating every part of the design.

At this stage of the process, I take full responsibility for bringing all the architectural elements together so your proposal is clear, compliant and ready for planning or building control approval, or both. This is the point where I check the key components of the design to make sure everything meets Building Regulations and sets the project up for a smooth journey ahead. I may even speak directly with trusted tradespeople I’ve worked with over the years to spot any opportunities to reduce costs, improve buildability, and address potential issues early on.

When everything is ready, I put together and submit the full application package myself and handle all communication with the local authority, keeping you updated throughout so you always know where things stand.

There’s absolutely no pressure to commit to a full architectural service, I’m more than happy to help with planning or building control only, for projects of any scale. Getting great results for clients is genuinely the part of this job I enjoy most.
